Ohayon Construction’s Beverly Hills ADU project is a detached, one-bedroom accessory dwelling unit of approximately 500 square feet.

The design challenge: a greater sense of space
The biggest challenge was making the interior feel larger than its approximately 500-square-foot footprint. An open-concept connection between the kitchen and living room, together with larger windows, helped create that greater sense of space.
The detached one-bedroom ADU combines a compact footprint with an open kitchen and living area. Larger windows further contributed to the more spacious feel.
